Allow me to (re)introduce myself!
Hi, Iโm Jodie, and today Iโm making the change from bringlighttoshadow.com to jodiebaer.com.
Why the name change, you might ask? Iterative growth ๐
When I first started this site, I launched under the name โJodacious Writingโ. Writing had been a dream of mine for decades. I picked this name (inspired by one of my favourite writers @jenerous) on a whim. Settling on a name rather than obsessing over picking the exact right label gave me a platform to start putting my work out there.
Then, I started to explore coaching. I began to carve out a niche as a self-discovery coach, someone who encourages others to get in touch with their thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and experiences with kindness and curiosity. My website morphed into bringlighttoshadow.com, a name that represents the intentional (and sometimes scary) process of unearthing the invisible forces that drive us. In all honesty, part of this name choice was driven by a desire to stay hidden rather than attached so visibly to my work.
Now, Iโve reached another growth milestone. I know with certainty that who I am is integral to my coaching. Making personal connections is so important to creating fruitful relationships, and those connections are easier to form when you can see the person behind the brand.
To those of you who have been with me since my early days, thanks for your support <3 To my new friends, welcome! I canโt wait to connect with you more.
Greetings! Very helpful advice in this particular article! It is the little changes that will make the most important changes. Thanks a lot for sharing!
An interesting discussion is definitely worth comment. I do believe that you should publish more about this subject, it may not be a taboo matter but typically people dont discuss these subjects. To the next! Many thanks!!
Thanks.
